Trail Etiquette
Be nice! All of our trails are shared with other users – hikers, runners and in some cases equestrians. There is also a wide range of biking abilities – from beginners on recreational bikes to experts seeking to go as fast as possible. It only takes one rude biker to upset a whole bunch of people.
It is every rider’s responsibility to be as polite as possible on the trail. When someone moves aside to let you by, be sure to say “thank you”. If you are a slow rider and someone calls “trail please” – then let them by when you get a chance.
Good manners are easy for most of us, but if you are challenged in this department, then please work on improving!
