About and hour North of Houston in the Sam Houston National Forest is a sweet little 7.5 mile loop.  The course is beginner-intermediate with little elevation change, yet still fun.  Spend a day up there riding, swimming, camping or picnic along the lake.  Entry fee is $5.00 per car.  To get there take I-59 North to Cleveland. Exit FM 2025 and drive 15-20 miles towards Coldspring Texas. Just before town turn right into the park.
