May Group Ride

 Gary Strouz will lead the May monthly ride at Huntsville State Park on Sunday, May 4th starting at 9:00 a.m.  We typically ride until around noon-ish, then grab a bite to eat on the way back to Houston.  Please arrive a little early so we can start on time.  Everyone is welcome, and there will be groups of riders for every riding ability.
 

Close to forty GHORBA and Northwest Cycling Club members converged on Huntsville State Park on May 4th for a great ride and lunch in the Sam Houston National Forest.  Everyone met at the interpretive building before heading out on the trails for as many as 4 laps on the race loop.  There were several different groups of riders by abilities and speeds.  The Huntsville trails were in primo condition thanks to the hard work of GHORBA members and Huntsville Trail Stewards Jimm Schroeder and Richard Gabrunas. Everyone then met at Bryan's campsite for some bratwurst, hotdogs, chips, drinks and twinkies, and stories and laughs.  A great time was had by all.Pictures.
