Stephen F Austin Campout and Ride March 28th 2004

GHORBA  hosted a ride and camp-out at Stephen F. Austin State Park on Saturday, March 27th. The group had reserved two shelters and everyone set their tents up around them.  Most were on the other side of the shelter from Keith's tent, something about snoring but I never heard him.  Mike Winkler brought out the Lumberjack Challenge for entertainment, Cynthia and Jamie ran the grill, Chris ran her mouth, and a group from Northwest Cycling Club showed for a ride.  The weather was great all weekend with just a slight rain in the night for good sleeping.  Food was good with Brisket, Chicken, Sausage, as well as potato salad, chips fresh Pico de Gallo and Ice cold Fat Tire Amber.  The trails are coming along nicely and the riding helped bed the trail in.  More work and mileage is planned for the future as well as decking on the bridges.  Thanks to everyone that worked on the trails and helped with the cookout and campout.
