Over the course of this all inclusive weekend camp, Doug will be leading a series of classroom and outdoor riding sessions for beginner to intermediate riders. Riding techniques including climbing, descending, cornering and handling skills will be addressed through skills drills and on-the-trail practice. Riders will be videotaped in order to provide feedback on riding technique. Classroom topics will include equipment, maintenance, and on-the-trail repair. Specific content and activities will be tailored to meet the varying skill levels of participants. Plenty of time will be set aside for riding the 16+ miles of trail on the beautiful X Bar Ranch.

Package includes lodging - from campsites to plush accommodations in the Round House, six delicious meals and snacks, instruction with plenty of time on the trails and all the amenities that go with time well spent on the X Bar Ranch. Pricing ranges from $285-$385 per person. Special pricing is available for companions who want to come along but will not take part in the clinic sessions. Those prices range from $125-$220 per person.

If you’re so inclined, bring your road bike too. There are some scenic and fun road rides with challenging climbs and descents. The lightly traveled ranch roads in this area of the western Hill Country are perfect for road rides.
