Public Clinics
Several times a year, GHORBA and our partners put on public mountain biking skills clinics. They are suited for all ages and skill levels, so if you attend as a beginner and practice your skills afterward, you can probably attend as an intermediate next time around.
Best of all, GHORBA public MTB skills clinics are free for GHORBA members!

Custom Group Clinics
If your workplace, family, or group has 5 or more riders that would like a customized skills clinic, please contact clinic@GHORBA.org for information on scheduling a custom skills clinic for a small, tax-deductible donation.
Private Lessons
Private mountain biking lessons can be arranged via our pool of instructors. Contact clinic@GHORBA.org for more info.
Rides & Events Update - July 2010
We will not have a member meeting this month however we have two monthly rides on the calendar that you should try to participate in, organized by our ride organizer, Mike Strawn:
o Saturday July 17 – Ride at Double Lake including the new trails

Monthly Ride - Sunday, June 20 at Flintridge Trails
Gordon Craig, the Flintridge Trail Steward has graciously agreed to lead us on a group ride this Sunday. Show up around 8:00 am and be ready to roll by 8:30 am.
The singletrack is in the Geo. Mitchell Preserve, which is part of the Spring Creek Greenway. GMP is on the North, or Montgomery County, side of Spring Creek. The Preserve is on the South side of Flintridge Drive, in The Woodlands.

The trailhead and parking lot is between Gosling on the East and Kuykendahl on the West, about a quarter mile West of Gosling. The parking lot can be hard to see but has two small gravel over-culvert entrances. There are only about 12 parking spaces at the trailhead. More than that will have to park on the street, which worked fine for Short Track Stampede.
