Memorial Day Trip to Monterrey, Mexico

Monterrey is only an 8.5 hour drive from Houston—the closest Mountains you will find to Houston. We plan to leave in a van with a 4-bike rack late next Thursday or early Friday and return Monday—Memorial day.

The plan is to do some canyonering and waterfall exploration Saturday and an epic ride Sunday in the Monterrey National Park or Chipinque Ecological preserve areas, using paid guides (local bike shop owner and professional guide).

We have 2 more spots for intermediate/advanced mountain bicyclists to ride with us on this trip. The costs will be shared but we expect a $90 per person deposit for fuel, Mexico car insurance & entry fees, as well as guide and park fees. Since the trip will route via San Antonio, riders from there are welcome as well.
