Cypresswood Trails
As of the end of July 2006, the trails are being logged for forest management, taking out 60% of the pine trees, leaving the remainder and all of the hardwoods. The land will look very different than it has, but eventually it will be nice. The work will continue through August and into September.
Meanwhile, GHORBA worked very hard and the county have planned a high powered meeting to hopefully pool resources between the county and flood district to make a good offer to finally purchase the land and secure it forever.

Meantime, please stay off the private land (clearly posted). The land either side is county owned and you can use those trails. Ride along Cypresswood Drive between the two trail areas.
