Double Lake Recreational Area
Double Lake Recreational Area near Coldspring, Texas, is located in the Sam Houston National Forest and only 1 hour away from Houston.
This beautiful singletrack is almoust doubled in size due to GHORBA efforts. The trail system loops through the forest and is perfect for beginners, young riders as well as experienced riders who want to go fast!
This is the place to go when trails closer to Houston are too wet to ride, as it drains well and the coarse sand actually is faster after it gets a bit damp.
This trail is used for a TMBRA spring race — the GHORBA Big Ring Challenge.
