Huntsville State Park
North of Houston on the southern edge of the city of Huntsville is a great place to ride.
The trails have been there for years and with the working relationship between the GHORBA Trail Stewards and the Park Rangers, the trails are in the best condition in years.
Bridges and re-routes were put in place by GHORBA volunteers to mitigate erosion. Hiking-only trails were opened up for multi-use.
Funding for the state parks is at an all time low, so GHORBA’s help with bridge material and labor was very appreciated.
