Keep warm with GHORBA work parties and group rides!
Two Work Parties this Saturday December 9!
Terry Hershey Park, 10 AM
Join REI and GHORBA @ Terry Hershey Park for trash pick-up and a ride afterwards. Long pants and gloves are suggested for the cleanup as there is plenty of poison ivy around the dirt trails.
REI will provide snacks and drinks, and volunteers also get some schwag in form of the REI MULTI-LANGUAGE VOLUNTEER T-SHIRT.
Make sure you have a helmet and water bottle for the ride — we will have a fast group and a slow group depending on number of participants, and ride the trails.
Carl Barton, Jr. Park Trail Expansion, 8 AM
Join trail steward Gary Rogers in the trail expansion project at Carl Barton, Jr. Park in Conroe.
If you never worked on building a mountain bike trail before… here is your chance! GHORBA will supply drinks and food, but bring gloves and contact Gary if you think he could use some extra tools.

The Armadillo Rides Continue at Memorial Park.
The Wednesday group is getting larger with all the early X-Mas presents people have been receiving… so if you have a light, join us for a quick ride and use it!
