IMBA Clinic and Trail Expansion at Double Lake Feb 23-25

The Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew, Ryan Schutz and Kristin Butcher, will be in town soon helping us scout trails, hold a trail building clinic for GHORBA members and assist with trail expansion projects at Double Lake Recreational Area, located in Sam Houston National Forest, just 1 hour north of Houston. We’re also looking at miles of new trail in the SHNF south of Double Lake, using the help and expertise of the Subary/IMBA Trail Care Crew to get the job done right!

If you want to help build cool new trail at Double Lake – then just turn up at Double Lake trail on Sunday – the more the merrier!

Here’s the schedule of events. We’d love to see you out on the trail!

Fri. Feb 23 Meeting with US Forest Service and walk-through of new trails
Sat. Feb 24 Trail Building Clinic
Sun. Feb 25 9 AM Trail work party. Bring your bike and gloves; tools, lunch and Paydirt Points will be provided.
