Major Repairs at Memorial Park, June 28-29

8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday

We need to move some major amounts of dirt to fix the closed Callout section badly eroded by rain over the past year.

You can attend one or more shifts spanning the two days.

Tools used will be tampers, McLeods and shovels.

Your trail work experience is less important than showing up. However, we need to get a headcount for planning purposes.

Everyone volunteering at the work party can gather their Paydirt points for the 2008-2009 season. Even if you don’t race, you can qualify for some sweet prizes at the end of the racing season.

  1. Please include whether folks ought to bring bikes or not. I’ve been to some where tools were dropped near the worksite and it made sense to bike to the location, and some where everyone walked and carried tools and the bike stayed in the trunk.

  2. It’s more likely we’ll carry the tools to the location, but it’s not far. You can always bring your bike to ride afterward.

  7. I could not believe my eyes when I saw how dry the trail was. The rain that fell at the park was soak up very nicely, in fact it will make for a very fast Time Trial Sunday. So come and play with us!
